WE WORK WITH ONLY US-BASED TRANSCRIBERS!!

CyberDictate is continually recruiting the most experienced and integrity-driven individuals to provide superior transcription services to our clientele. These individuals are US Citizens and US-based and are required to provide proof of citizenship, sign Independent Contractor Agreements, inclusive of Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure terms, and are expected to abide by all Federal and State laws and regulations.

While we maintain a high standard for skill and experience requirements, our transcribers must first possess these basic requirements:

MINIMUM Requirements for LEGAL TRANSCRIBERS (in addition to Standard Transcriber requirements):

• PRIOR LEGAL EXPERIENCE IS A MUST! No less than 3 full years intensive legal experience in law firms within the past 5-7 years is required.
• Impeccable References Required.
• You MUST have extensive experience in and an excelled working knowledge of legal terminology and proper set up of legal documents (ie, pleadings, discovery, agreements, formal correspondence, etc. ).
• Availability during normal business hours.
• Requires Microsoft Word, WordPerfect and Excel capabilities.
• Have a minum typing speed of 85.
• Work well under pressure and strict time constraints.

MINIMUM Requirements for STANDARD TRANSCRIBERS:

• Have minimum typing speed of 70 wpm
• Able to provide and adhere to committed work schedules (as chosen by you) during normal business hours, submitted in 2 week incremental minimums
• Consistently produce quality product under strict time constraints
• Maintain computer hardware and software to comply with changing needs of CyberDictate clientele
• A thorough working knowledge of processing digital audio files and software to support transcription of same
• A thorough working knowledge of the Internet, including the use of e-mail, ftp sites, web browsing, etc.
• You MUST have at least 2 years of recent and relative word processing or transcription experience

Equipment Minimums: As CyberDictators are Independent Contractors, they are expected to possess the necessary equipment to complete work product per our client’s specifications and requirements (ie, headset, foot pedal, transcription software that must be capable of reading: DSS, DS2, WAV, MP3, DVI, WMV audio files and have AVI and MPEG reading capabilities, at a minimum. Work product is required in WordPerfect and Microsoft Word).
